Viola Maes

Viola Maes, 65, passed away peacefully at her home on May 15, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving and caring mom, sister, grandma, aunt, nina, and friend. She had a heart of gold and a strong love for her faith and casinos.

 She was proceeded in death by her husband Antonio Maes, parents; Onecimo “Nick” and Nora Varela, and sister; Patricia “Titi” Varela, Father-in-law; Alfonso Maes, Sister-in-law; Julie Rivera and Aunt Flora Maes, and many more.

 Viola was survived by her daughters; Marina (Patrick) and Melissa (Guillermo). Sisters; Dorie (David) and Roselyn (Robert). Her loving grandchildren; Jazmyn, Jeremiah, Jolen, Jayme, Mercedes, and Alexandria. Her nieces and nephews; Monique (Gary), Stephanie (Daniel), Roberta, Julian, Joshua, Dominick, D.J. Pat, Miguel, Jessica, Manny, Patrick, Monica, Jennifer, Briggette, Ashley, Jaclyn, Jose Armando, and many, more. Her God children; Jorge Rascon, Jose Miguel Olivas, and Lorenzo Quintana.

 A special Thank You to Helen Maes (sister-in-law) for all the help she put into the final days/hours of care and to Mary and Jacob from Del Corazon Hospice for their compassion.

 A private family burial will take place later where she will be united with the love of her life -Antonio Maes.
