Ubaldo "Waldo" J Salazar

Ubaldo “Waldo” Jose Salazar was called by the Lord May 8th, 2022 in Santa Fe, NM at the age of 99 years young. Born to Ignacita and Daniel Salazar in Cañones, NM on April 29th, 1923. The proud WWII Navy Veteran is welcomed to the afterlife by his loving wife Susie, sons Michael and Richard, brothers Benito, Isabel, and Encarnación, parents and grandparents.

Waldo is survived by his nine remaining children, 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren: Richard, Michael, J.J., Adiel, Leto, Leo, Nestor, Joaquin, Marcella, Rey, Santana, Aaron, Fernando, Ayden, Cecilia, Rachel, Toni, Josh, Jeremy, Amiyah, Marcos, Vanessa, Desirae, Noah, Eddie, Jerome, Janessa, Jayla, Jerome Jr., Linda,  Diego, Leandro, Estrella, Mateo, Victoria, Sativa, Valarie, TruLee, HeavenLee, Daiza, Pennie, Nile, Monica, Eric, Gary, Miana, Gabriella, Lola, Brooklyn, Hazel, Amanda, Haylee, Cooper Lee, Adam, David, Lisa, Isaiah, Sullivan, Romey, Conway, Jason, Oliver, Maxwell, Chelsea Nicole, Cooper James, Annabelle, Roberta, Michelle, Michael, Patricia, Andrea, Kiana, Xavier, Briana, Chelsea Devon. Waldo is also survived by his older sister Lillian Trujillo and brother Herman Salazar.

Thank you Waldo for being such a strong example for your family. We love you and will miss you dearly.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli funeral home. Mass will take place at St. Anne’s Parish at 10 a.m. on May 24th, 2022. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
