Silviano Rael

Silviano was born in Nambe, New Mexico to Daniel and Castelita Rael on September 13, 1932.  

He was a graduate of Pojoaque High School and The College of Santa Fe. He later obtained his Master's Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico.

Silviano was a High School teacher for several years and retired from the Department of Education as State Director of Migrant Education.

He was also a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. After his release from the Army he served with the New Mexico Army National Guard as Battery Commander and various battalion and brigade staff assignments. 

Silviano is survived by his Loving Wife Irene and Son Jose Rael, as well as his Sisters Maria Martinez, and Angela Vigil. He is also survived by many loving Friends and Relatives.
