Rogerio “Roger” Contreras, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
Roger loved the outdoors and working with cattle and horses. He loved to work his backhoe in Rio En Medio. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, a semi-truck driver, and a school bus driver.
He loved spending time with family; was a loving father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores Contreras and daughter Jessica Contreras.
He is survived by his son Tim Contreras (Mags), his daughter Jennifer Lujan (Paul), his sister Maria Lujan (Gilbert), his sister Lillian Morales (Leroy), and his companion Carolyn Francisco. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held: Saturday April 8, 2017 at Berardinelli Funeral Home, viewing at 5pm followed by rosary. On Sunday April 9, 2017 a rosary will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 7:30pm. On Monday April 10, 2017 a funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 10am followed by burial in Rio En Medio, Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.
