Orvil Dale Bradley

August 29, 1937 ~ January 11, 2021 (age 83) 83 Years Old

Tribute

Orvil Dale “Brad” Bradley breathed his first breath in heaven on January 11, 2021.  He was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on August 29, 1937 to Rosabelle Bradley (Fowler) and Odie A. Bradley.  

At 17, after graduating from high school in 1955, Brad enlisted in the United States Army Air Force, and made it a career, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.  He retired after 22 years of military service.  He worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratories as a designer and Respirator Industrial Engineer and retired a second time. After two retirements Brad restored antique clocks as his hobby.

In July 1958, Brad married Mary Jo Brady and they had three sons–Vincent, Christopher and Frank “Duke” and two daughters, Gisele (Gigi) Jacobs and Jacqueline (Jackie) Bradley-Ortiz.   

While in the military, Brad was able to travel worldwide taking his family.

He coached Little League Baseball for more than 20 years in Florida, Spain, and New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rosabelle Bradley (Fowler), father Odie A. Bradley, Brother Jimmy Bradley, Brother Bill Bradley, oldest grandson Vincent Lee Bradley and son-in-law George Anthony Gonzales.

He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, his children Vincent, Christopher, (Christine), Gisele “Gigi”, (Daniel), Jacqueline “Jackie”, (Phillip Anthony), and Frank “Duke”, (Monica); grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Alexandra (Raymond), Isaiah (Alanis), George Anthony, Joshua (Shania), Gianna, Amanda, Alexander, Basiea (Isaiah), Paige (Nathan), Damian, Kevin, Adrian, Ryan and Aaron. Great grandchildren; Titus, Jareth, Charles, and Marialena, Emily, Jeremiah; siblings; Pat VanCuren and (Herb) and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Thank you to all our family and friends that prayed and supported us during his life, each of you kept us lifted in ways we can never fully express our sincere appreciation and gratitude. We will miss his physical presence in many ways yet, hold our memories of his smile and emerald green eyes in our hearts always.

Funeral Notice Detail

Rosary at 9:30am and Mass to follow at 10:00am on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Location: San Isidro Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Online condolences may be shared at: gigigon@msn.com. Internment to be held at a later date for full military honors at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
