Morris "Mauricio" C. Montoya, Sr.

Morris “Mauricio” C. Montoya Sr., 75yrs, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.  Morris was born to Josephine B. Montoya and Eppifano C. Montoya on November 22, 1943.

He married the love of his life, Ricarda “Ricky” Montoya on January 10, 1959 in Juarez, Mexico. 

Morris held a career as a Food Manufacturer.  He was a born again Christian, it always gave him joy to help people in need.

He is proceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eddie Montoya, Eppie Montoya, Frankie Montoya; sisters, Stella Hernandez, Delores (Cookie) Castillo; sons, Mauricio C. Montoya Jr., Ralph F. Montoya.  Morris is survived by his loving wife, Ricky Montoya; children, Melissa Vick (Greg), Timothy Montoya (Camille); sisters, Belda Casaus (Ted), Frances Olguin; grandsons, Fabian Montoya, Richard Montoya, Ronald Carrillo Jr., Morris Carrillo; granddaughters, Monique Carrillo, Briana Montoya, Alyssa Montoya, Leah Montoya; 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6pm at The Vineyard Community Church located at 1352 San Juan Dr., Santa Fe, NM, with a celebration on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 10am.  Burial will be at Rosario Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are as follows; Timothy Montoya, Greg Vick, Larry Mendoza, Ronnie Carrillo Sr., Ronnie Carrillo Jr., Gilbert Montoya.  Honorary pallbearers are Monique R. Carrillo, Briana R. Montoya, Alyssa J. Montoya, Leah F. Montoya.
