Maida Sanchez

Maida M. Sanchez was born May 26,1942 and died peacefully in her home in Santa Fe on October 21,2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She always put her family first and loved them unconditionally. Maida worked at St. Vincent Hospital for 42 years. Maida loved cooking, spending time with her husband, family, and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her coffee black and going to get her hair and nails done. 

She is a huge loss to our family. She was a strong woman, with so much love for her family. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jose A. Sanchez Jr.; her sister Joan Robbins (George); her 4 children: Annette Alire (Jimmy), Bernadette Serrano (Gino), Veronica Apodaca (Danny), and Daniel Sanchez (Amber); her grandchildren: Ryan Serrano, Amanda Alire (Isaac), Melanie Serrano, Nicholas Alire (Kianna), DJ Apodaca (Infinity), Ashley Apodaca (Gabe), Haley Romero Sanchez (Chris), Baby Daniel and Shyla Sanchez, Michael and Ryan Anaya; her great-grandchildren: Isaac and Isla Vigil, Emillianna, Eli, and Ezra Alire, Amora and Baby girl Romero, and Mikey Aiden Anaya.  She had many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. There are too many to mention but she loved them all dearly

Visitation will be held from 6 -7 with a rosary to follow at Berardinelli on Monday, November 1st at 7pm  Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday November 2nd at 10am at St. Annes Church. She will be laid to eternal rest at Memorial Gardens
