Tribute

Lura Beth Rhodes, 88, of Los Ojos, NM died April 14, 2021. Beth, a graduate of NMSU Las Cruces, was a sheep herder; home economics teacher and cheerleading coach at Escalante HS in Tierra Amarilla; and an officer of the Order of Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls in Chama. She is survived by her loving brother, 8 nieces and nephew, and 8 grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Santa Fe followed by a funeral service at Rutheron Cemetery. The First Baptist Church of Santa Fe will accept donations in her honor.
