Juan G. Romero

Juan G. Romero, 91, a lifetime resident of Santa Fe passed away December 29, 2018.  Juan was surrounded by his loving wife of 69 years, his children and their spouses, and grandchildren.  Juan was preceded in death by his parents, George and Loretita, his daughter, Bernadette Angel, and his sisters, Maida Gonzales and Mary Trujillo.

Juan is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, children, Louise, Gloria Gurule (Paul), Robert (Charlotte), Steve (Bernadette), and Clorinda Williams (Ricky), twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren, his brother Reymundo (Mercedes), his sister, Consuelo Gonzales, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited on January 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM and interment at 12:45 PM at the National Cemetery. 

Juan’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers, John Pat Romero, Emmett Gurule, Carlos Angel, Gabriel Romero, John Robert Romero, and John Victor and Eric Maldanado.
