I was on a journey in the early 80's across the nation with my husband and stayed awhile in Wind River. We visited Jeri in the Wind River Trading Company, I bought some beaded bracelets and corresponded with her afterward. I still have a letter she wrote about my interest in moccasins. Just a short visit but I am so glad I met Jeri and that she was a part of my past. Wishing her family all the best in the world.

Back in the early 90s Jeri put some friends and myself up in her guest house. We had just moved to Santa Fe after camping our way across the country from the east coast in February. She was such a warm and welcoming host. Staying with her made our transition to life in the city different easy. I will always remember her generosity and humor. Rest in peace, Jeri.

What a beautiful woman Jeri was. I will always remember her graceful and elegant way she carried herself. She would bring her girls, Keri and Teri into my dance studio in Lander, Wy weekly for the girls dance lessons. I have often thought of her and the girls with such fond memories and I am so sad to hear of her passing. She made a lasting impression on my thought and will not forget her beautiful face. My heartfelt prayers to all of you.
