Harvel Elizabeth Huddleston Sebastian

Harvel Elizabeth Huddleston Sebastian, born March 5, 1929 in Galveston, Texas, died on March 13, 2019.  She was loved by many; she will be missed by many!  Intellect, wife, mother, she had a full life and passed away in her home in serenity at 90 years of age.  She studied anthropology, and alongside her husband, Peter, a foreign service officer, she worked on development projects around the world.  A lifelong learner, she was the oldest person to graduate with a degree in urban planning from the University of Virginia.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.  Mrs. Sebastian is survived by her son and granddaughter, Christopher Sebastian and Katarina Hauck.  She was a flower, an oasis; wherever she went, she grew gardens for the senses and the soul.  May she rest in peace.

A memorial service will be held at Holy Faith Episcopal Church in Santa Fe at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 19.
