These included gathering and cutting wood, hauling well water for drinking, as well as cleaning, and washing clothes on behalf of her siblings. Gloria enjoyed family activities, including travelling, going out to eat, walking in the outdoors, and spending time at the family cabin in Pecos. She devoted many hours teaching religion to children at St. Anne’s school, worked at La Fonda, Kitchen Fresh Bakery, and also worked as a custodian for the State of New Mexico. Gloria had a lot of amazing stories to share from her childhood and younger years, growing up on a ranch and living through the Great Depression. She contributed so much to creating family unity and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
