Georgia Ortiz, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away on April 25, shortly after her 79th birthday. Georgia was born to the late Hazel and Bernard Jensen in Ida Grove, Iowa on April 19, 1939. She married her spouse of 52 years, Andy F. Ortiz on April 10th in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have two children: daughter Teresa Manherz and stepson Michael Ortiz. Along with being a mother, Georgia enjoyed 40 years with Chrysler Plymouth Dodge, as an accounting manager. She was an avid member of the 15 Carat Club, with only nine remaining active members.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. They will be celebrating her life on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service (1399 Luisa Street) at 5:30 PM. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be donated to the American Breast Cancer Foundation (www.abcf.org/donate).
