Frances passed away on February 3, 2018. She was born in Santa Fe, NM to Cirilio and  Nina Montano  on April 13, 1932. She was married to Benito Maestas and together they raised two daughters, Elizabeth Manzanares and Margie Martinez, in Santa Fe, NM. Frances was very much loved by her family and friends. She was friendly to everyone and always with a beautiful smile. She will be missed dearly by her daughters, Elizabeth (Bob) and Margie (Bob); grandchildren, Rob (Pennie) Manzanares, Sonja Martinez, Bobbi Leigh (Anthony) Nunez , and Roxanne Martinez; and great grandchildren, Brailyn Manzanares, Kaia-Avi Manzanares, Amber Gould, Jalyn Gould, Raquel Martinez, Jade Gonzales, Gabriel Nunez, Nathaniel Nunez, Deztini Nunez, Ronald Aragon, Jr., and Unique Aragon.  She was preceded in death by her great grandchild Jeremiah Nunez.
A Visitation will take place at Berardinelli Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4:00pm, with the Rosary beginning at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00am, with Burial at Rosario Cemetery to follow.
