Our heavenly father wrapped his loving arms around our beautiful mother on Saturday, January 8, 2022.  With great sadness and broken hearts we announce her peaceful passing surrounded by her loving family. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend.

Brother, Felipe Baca and Sister, Dora Archuleta.  Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  Special friend Maureen Marquez.

She was born in Milagro, New Mexico on May 28, 1926. She attended school in Cerrillos, New Mexico. She and Monico were married on April 12, 1948.  After a few years they moved to the bay area in California, where they resided until 1965.  She was a stay at home Mom, always being there for her six children.  Her greatest passion and joy was being around her family. She was a wonderful cook always wanting to feed anyone who came to visit.  All her food was delicious but her tortillas were the best, making sure we never ran out.  She was a talented seamstress, making beautiful quilts and loved to do liquid embroidery.  She was very artistic, you were very lucky if she gifted you with one of her pieces.  She was an avid 49er fan, you didn’t want to sit too close to her during a game.  She was a devout catholic, never missing mass and made sure we didn’t either.  She would always pray novenas for anyone who was in need of prayer.  A parishioner of St. John’s Catholic Church. She never met a stranger. Above all she was the kindest, sweetest most loving person. Everyone loved her. She will be greatly missed by all.  We will especially miss her ever present smile.  Rest in peace our precious angel.
