Emma (Ulibarri) Roybal

Emma Ulibarri-Roybal passed on August 4, 2018 in Santa Fe, NM, at age 91 after a lengthy illness. Emma was born in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico on June 22, 1927 but lived most of her life in Santa Fe. Emma was a loving and giving person with a big heart, always helping her family and friends in whatever way she could. She was preceded in death by her parents: Carmelita Jacques-Ulibarri and Leo Ulibarri, son: David Roybal, sister: Jean Lopez, brothers: Toby, Leo, Jake, Carlos, and Gilbert Ulibarri. She is survived by sons: Marty, Benny (Shirley), Phillip (Diane), Albert, Michael, and Manuel Roybal; and daughters: Carole Boles (Tom), Emma Roybal, and Cleo Santana (Robert), as well as 29 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren.

Special Thanks to Tonita Candelaria Zelaya who lovingly cared for Emma the last 14 years of her life.

A rosary will be celebrated on Thursday, August 9th at 7:00 PM. The burial mass will be held on Friday, August 10th at 10:00 AM at Saint Anne Parish on Alicia Street.
