Christiana Veronica Maestas

For most of us, July 4th means a day to celebrate our freedom; a day we feel most appropriate for Christiana to pass from this world. Each year she will want us to celebrate her life with fanfare and fireworks - a time to reflect on the freedom from her struggles on this earth. Christiana is survived by her mother Frances Ramirez-Maestas; her sister Monica F. Maestas; nephew and godson Mateo; and her paternal grandmother Theresa Maestas. She was preceded in death by her father Rudy O. Maestas.

Services for Christiana will be held Thursday, July 23rd beginning at 9:45 am at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Community, 11 College Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87508. Everyone in attendance must wear a mask and will be seated according to social distancing guidelines. For those that cannot attend, a live stream of the services can be accessed at: https://twitter.com/SMDLPaz.  You DO NOT need a Twitter account to view the live stream. The family will not be having a reception at this time due to COVID; but will celebrate her life via a virtual reception that will start at 5:00 pm at: https://twitch.tv/djdmonic505 and can be accessed from your smart phone/tv/device.
