Anna Mae Vigil

Our beautiful Mother, Anna Mae Vigil, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the evening of May 20, 2023.  Mom was 95 years young.  Anna Mae was happily married to Ernest Vigil for 75 years.  Anna Mae is preceded in death by her Father George King and her Mother Aurelia R. King. Brother; George King Jr.(June). Sister's; Ruby Chavez (Felix), Emma Chavez (Arthur), Eloise Fernandez (Felix), Angie Silva (Louie), Sue Chavez (Leo), Sophie Romero (Dave), Rose Chavez (Louie).

Our Mom is survived by her husband Ernest Vigil; Son's Ernie Vigil (Olivia), Raymond Vigil (Linda) and Daughter, Anita Vigil. Grandchildren: Linda Trujillo, Georgia Montoya, Carl Vigil, Andrew Vigil, Kimberly Smith, Michael Rivera, Kristen Ortiz, Evan Vigil, and Noah Vigil. 17 Great Grandchildren and Sister, Mary Glenn (John).

Mom worked for the State of NM Tax Commission. She retired in 1983 as an auditor financial specialist. She also moonlighted as a model for several shops on the Santa Fe Plaza. Mom was a Prayer Warrior and had a very strong faith in Jesus Christ. She belonged to the Third Order of Franciscans through the St. Francis Cathedral. Our Mom is now dancing on the street of gold in Heaven.

Visitation is Friday, May 26, 2023 at 9:00am at the St. Francis Cathedral, following visitation is a Rosary at 9:30am with a Christian mass at 10:00am. A Christian burial will be held on Friday June 2, 2023, at 10:00am at the Santa Fe National Cemetery
