On Wednesday, October 27, 2021 Angela Ana Anaya, born in Albuquerque in December 17, 1949 passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer.  Ana, a descendent of the 1598 Spanish Founding Families of New Mexico, was an “Angel” spirit, with a deep love of God expressed in great generosity, enthusiasm for adventure, humor, bravery, artistic abilities and in helping others.

A graduate of Belen High School and the College of Santa Fe, Ana worked tirelessly to make sure her students in A.P.S. were learning, growing in mind, spirit, character and interpersonal skills.  Ana lived her mission as a caregiver to people most in need, with open heart and arms, she embraced and assisted people all her life.  Many knew her as “Psychic Ana” and had many followers who felt a heart connection seeking her straight forward council and wisdom.

Ana’s large family, many friends and associates are heartbroken over the loss.  Ana’s roles as mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, friend, teacher, counselor, etc., are celebrated as gifts she bestowed and leaves behind for many.  Her beauty, love, direct expressions, spontaneity, enthusiasm, great humor, are a few traits that will be sorely missed.
