Nellie Senteney, a lifetime resident of Santa Fe, was called by our Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. She was 85 years old. She was a devoted mother to her children. She was a waitress for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Francis R. Barela, and her son Wayne Senteney. She is survived by her two children, Ellen Varela (Jimmie) and Mark Senteney (Annette); grandchildren Paul Varela, Christopher Varela, Emily Senteney, and Marc Senteney.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 9:30 am at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service (1399 Luisa St.) with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. Anne Parish (511 Alicia St.). Burial will follow at Noon at Rosario Cemetery.
