M. Dolores Gonzales, age 87 passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Casa Rael Nursing Facility where she had been cared for my staff members that knew and loved her.  She was born in Santa Fe on June 2, 1930 to Julio Gonzales, Sr. and Rupertita Gonzales.  She was the oldest of five children.  She had a passion for music and in her youth often played the piano.  She was a kind and gentle spirit and brought joy to all of those whose lives she touched.  Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Julio, Jr., her brother Richard (Dickie), Jerry and her sister, Mary Zita.  She will be remembered as a thoughtful and loving person who was dedicated to the Lord and her family and to assisting the Carmelite nuns in rosary and scapular making for many years.  We will be having a rosary for her on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel, followed by a mass at 2:00 p.m. in the main church at the Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Santa Fe.  The Family would like to welcome you to join us in celebration of our beloved Auntie’s life.
